I have been working in financial planning for over 25 years, mainly for accountancy and legal firms, advising clients all over the UK.I specialise in advising on pensions and investments alongside legal and accountancy professionals and have extensive experience in Inheritance Tax advice.
I particularly enjoy passing my knowledge on to my clients to reduce the “fear factor” that many people face when trying to deal with their financial planning, enabling my clients to feel more confident in their knowledge and understanding of their financial position both now and in the future.
I am one of only a handful of Financial Planners in the country to have obtained Chartered Financial Planner status from the Chartered Insurance Institute, Chartered Wealth Manager status from the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments and the Certified Financial Planner designation from the Institute of Financial Planning. In 2009 I was awarded the Fellowship of the Personal Finance Society.
Away from work I enjoy socialising, watching sport and movies, and long walks with my “Border Terror” (intentionally misspelt!)
